Welcome to the Long Island School Nutrition Directors Association LI-Coop!
About UsThe Long Island School Nutrition Director's Association (LISNDA) is a professional nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in school food service across Long Island. Founded to promote the highest standards in nutrition and food programs, we serve as a vital network for school nutrition professionals, spanning 54 of the 125 school districts in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Our Mission
We gather monthly providing opportunities for education, networking, and program development to drive growth in members' districts. A primary focus is our Long Island Cooperative (LI-COOP) bidding program, which coordinates efficient, cost-effective purchasing for food and supplies, helping districts save resources while maintaining top standards.
Governed by a member-elected Board of Directors and Executive Committee, LISNDA emphasizes transparency, fiduciary responsibility, and inclusivity. Membership includes active school nutrition directors, associates from commercial partners, honorary retirees, and students in the field.
Whether you're a seasoned director or new to school nutrition, join LISNDA to collaborate, innovate, and make a difference in our communities. Explore membership options today!
